The Last Enemy - baffling!

Can't find the thread someone started about this being hard to follow - so I'm starting one! Watched it on Sunday and as far as I'm concerned it's about people running about worriedly. Is there more to it?

I think its about horrible mean big drug company producing a antiviral/immunisation type drug, testing it in the middle east/africa and people dying and massive cover up thing. Intertwined with this is UK identity card type thing being passed as law.
