I rewatched 'the episode' yesterday! The wedding cake is on a table set out with buffet food so very 'weddingy'. Shazza is in wedding dress and her hair is in an up-do with a tiara type thing in it so deffo bride imo! The Xmas decs are very OTT even for the vic and have roses in them etc.

Other observations were Shazza has some blood on her wedding dress, Stacey has blood on her hands and Denise is visibly shaking with a smashed champagne bottle in her hand. Everyone looks shocked but Shazza actually looks distraught as she bends down to the body and declares he's dead - so presumably someone she cares about?

The other people in the episode are Eve (with Stacey) Rocky (with Kathy) Jack (with Denise) Keanu (with Shazza for the bog bunk-up bleurgh) and Nish (with Suki) and he's the last to leave the pub - maybe that's symbolic? Also Dean is mentioned when Linda sees him in the background of a photo of Shirley on SM.

I'm still none the wiser in conclusion! But because of Shazza's reaction I'm adding Phil and Ben to my possible victim list with Ravi and Nish!

So, judging by people rewatching the flash forwards , who is Sharon's new husband going to be then? Unless she is setting up Nish ? He divorces Suki and Sharon pretends to like him and gets married to him for money or revenge ? ( maybe a plot too far though to be fair !)

@Blondeshavemorefun yeah it is daft all the Xmas day weddings (but I guess it's done to accommodate the Xmas day specials) and good point that the corpse isn't necessarily the groom anyway!

I forgot to say one more thing I spotted was that Linda walks into the bar to find the corpse on the floor and the other 5 women standing there so she doesn't seem to be involved in the 'murder'. I also wonder if the 'corpse' isn't actually dead dead anyway wouldn't be the first time

Btw can I ask - is the Xmas storyline common knowledge now? I don't read newspapers etc so I have no idea if it's still being kept top secret or not?

Didn’t they do something with other stories (maybe who killed Archie, or Lucy?) where they film multiple takes of the same key scenes with a different person revealed so the cast don’t even know which one is being chosen until it airs?

I admit I read spoilers, but I've not seen anything on line or Facebook about who the dead body actually is. A few theories, but that's all!
So far even the six women don't have too much to do with each other either. It is intriguing
