Tv programme about a GP who killed an elderly couple

My friend recommended a TV show about a GP who befriended an elderly couple and then killed them for their money. She couldn't recall the name of the show and any Google searches just bring up things like Shipman.

She thinks it was on BBC or ITV rather than Netflix if that helps!

Are you sure it's not the sixth commandment. Similar story but not exactly the same

I think Sixth Commandment too. That was a dramatisation but there is also a documentary of the same case on iPlayer somewhere but I can't find it

If it’s a recent show I agree it’s likely the sixth commandment. Very good and worth a watch even if that’s not it.

Sixth Commandment is v recent but he wasn't a GP and the man and woman who died weren't a couple.

Aha found it it's on channel 4. Catching a Killer, the episode called "a diary from the grave"

Sixth commandment is the fiction depiction of this episode!
