If I loved Sanditon….

I love a good old period drama and need a bit of escapism from reality. What recommendations?

Have you watched Bridgerton on Netflix? Similar ahistoric romp, very fun.

Otherwise some more classic period dramas including the BBC Pride & Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. Oh I saw Lost in Austen on some platform recently, that’s a very funny take on Pride & Prejudice.

Persuasion - the Ciaran Hinds/Amanda Root version.

And I really enjoyed The Empress recently on Netflix.
