It's a bit like Lord of the Flies crossed with Enid Blyton. Sinister and really gripping

I've seen it. In some places it was very hard to watch, but somehow compelling.
The soundtrack is beautiful.

I've watched the first episode. I wouldn't mind reading the book. It's Rebecca Starford's memoirs of her time at Geelong Grammar School Treetop campus i believe in the 90s.

I didn't know that. Makes it more interesting then

I just binge watched the whole thing today. I thought it was really good. The actress playing Portia is superb. And the plotline on how Jo behaves with Saskia is very clever (trying to avoid spoilers here.)

I'm half way through the second episode. So far this episode has been non stop nasty bullying. I thought the first episode was excellent though, so I'll persevere.
