Stacey's finishing touches as mad as ever as they aren't close to unpacking 🤣

Love her, needs to be on Blue Peter.

Loved her rolling around on the floor trying to get those trousers off because Dilly was coming to visit Grin

I can't believe he's a health and safety manager and prepared to let his house be seen on TV!

And all that out of date food! 😱

Love this series. So watchable and Stacey is an excellent lead.

Love love love Stacey. Less keen on the couple who on the face of it didn't appear to be as deserving/in need as others previously. Maybe I'm just being grumpy.

I quite liked the lack of sob story - it was nice to see a family who, for no particular reason, are just struggling with clutter. Quite relatable!

determinedtomakethiswork · 09/09/2023 09:10

I get quite annoyed though when it's just a load of rubbish in the house that could easily be got rid of. Those rooms were just full of junk. It's one thing wanting to keep photos of the babies and some baby clothes etc but the mother was at home all day so why couldn't she chuck out all that old food herself?

ThinkingAgainAndAgain · 09/09/2023 18:52

She was clearly paralysed with overwhelm. She did great once she was helped to cope with the initial stages. But it was definitely both of them who needed the help.

It’s such a charming show! I really can’t see the point of the camp white bloke but the others three are great. Stacey’s so warm and personable; she’s a great lead for the show and I want Dilly as my scary best friend.

LadyBird1973 · 09/09/2023 19:36

He did a cracking job on that sink though!

JFDIYOLO · 14/09/2023 00:52

I love this show ... but somehow this week felt a bit off.

The very young girl just left school, the older health and safety manager finding her on Facebook after spotting her at a job interview, getting her pregnant two months later, married two months after that, another child, going away on frequent work trips and bringing back loads of junk food, letting the children live in chaos. Her parents right next door knowing this is going on and not helping her - it felt like there was just something wrong with the whole dynamic there.

Rummikub · 14/09/2023 01:01

I presumed she was 18 at the job interview for my head to be ok with it.
