Can't see any threads - anyone watching series 2?
I've just finished re watching series 1 in anticipation and starting series 2 tonight ...

Yeah, I binge watched series one again over the weekend and have just started the new one.I’m up to episode 3 already🙈

I watched the 1st episode of Season 2 and got really confused with the plot as I don't remember Moraine being cut off from the source in the books. I've only read the 1st 5 books or so and the first one was ages ago, but I remember Suanne being cut off. Apologies for spelling as I listened on audible not read them.

Ah @Purpleavocado i haven't read the books but in season 1 Moraine is cut off from the source during the battle in the final episode between Rand and the Dark One. He kind of drains it away from her ? I have read online that season 2 stays a bit closer to the book source material but I wouldn't know how true that is !

@jazzyfips I feel it was worth the binge of season 1. Season 2 feels a bit pacier already !

I read the books when they first came out. Watched season 1 which I thought was OK (could have been so much better). But the 'final battle'? What a damp squib that was! It's supposed to be epic - and in this case a season finale. Rather than making me hungry for season 2 I thought nah, if they won't use the source material properly then I'm not bothering to watch......
