We spent the first hour working out who was who; the next four hours wondering wtf was going on as the plot spiralled (brilliantly) to a denouement; the first 45 minutes of the final episode cheering everyone on, and then the final
Moments going ' but where is he then? Where did he go? Why aren't you looking for him???
Are we right in thinking that the donkey ground murders were solved but no one is bothering to release the original convict because he was a paedophile with a plan to kidnap a pair of little sisters even though he didn't actually harm anyone ??
And then the detective's brother is still missing and alive but for whatever reason he isn't going to look for him?? Why??
It was compelling snd horrific in parts (I was behind a cushion during the opera scene) but eventually disappointing and incomplete....unless we missed something. Please say we missed something!! Thanks
