He came back from his dad's with his brother in tow, he is not working at the hospital (and as he is leaving the show my guess is this is the run up to the last goodbye).
Abbey in the mean time has gone back to the drink and slept with Kevin the new chief (think you would have to be drunk as he is not nice looking at all)

Missing seeing Goran Visnjic around the ER? Well, you are in lucky because Ausiello reports that Goran will be returning to ER for (at least) four episodes this season as Dr. Luka Kovac. As you will remember, the season finale of season 13 was the final episode for both Goran Visnjic and Shane West as regular cast members.

I think that Abby and Luka's marriage will survive everything as he will not want to lose his family, she will get help and they will leave. She's leaving anyway at the end of the year and he's only doing a few appearances so they have to go somehow.

Abby and Luka are such a fan favourite I don't think they will kill their relationship off. Just look at Doug and Carol.

I did not know Abbey was leaving.... do you think they might get a happy ending? E.R is not known for the skipping off in to the sunset endings is it?
I always thought they were going to get together and stay together (bit like Ross and Hathaway). I would love a happy ending for them.

she didn't have "time" for an affair - she had a babysitter arranged for a staff night out, got hammered, ended up in bed? with Kevin and stumbled home at about 3am after coming round in his (Kevin's) bed.

they've got to let Kovac have at least one relationship that works out in his history on the series. Pretty please. [I've stopped watching it since he left, will have to catch up now]
