Would be interesting to see how Tyson comes across. He's a nice guy but he's sadly quite brain damaged - short term memory issues.

Tyson comes across pretty terribly. The part where he just deserted the family celebrations for little Tysons birthday was pretty horrible, and the bit where Paris had cooked his fave dessert for his return home, and he was so rude to her 😞. Paris puts up with A LOT. TF comes across as a really unhinged and volatile individual , and even though the official pr line is that he’s a gentle giant, and that his aggression is reserved solely for the boxing ring, he’s not a man I’d feel comfortable leaving my children with if I was Paris. At the least he comes across as a very emotionally abusive individual . Very difficult to be around someone who is so unpredictable.

I dislike that his behaviour is pinned solely on his mental health.

Paris chooses to put up with a lot. He's not a great partner.

I wonder how much is cultural expectations as well though.

Men do as they please, wife is the doormat to keep house and keep husband happy regardless. Divorce is not an option.

Yes @RandomMess . It’s interesting and I expect that anyone (women’s charitys etc )who dared to call out his behaviour would be cancelled for not understanding mental health issues. The social media response is interesting , mostly that Paris is a saint. Although if she posted on mumsnet I imagine she’d be advised to LTB , and she’d be berated for staying in the relationship because ‘the effect on the children’.

i'm watching. I find it strange how when he feels uncomfortable in a situation or wants to do what he wants, he uses looking after his dog as an excuse. Also, why on earth would he uproot a load of people, when it's coming up to his birthday to fly to Iceland to try and fight the Viking without checking if he was there?! 😵‍💫

It's seriously horrible to watch. So sad that anyone puts up with being treated like that by a partner.

@RandomMess that's so sad to hear. He still wants to box though from the sound of it. Assume then if he carries on his brain will deteriorate further?

You have the most brain cells in your early twenties then the decline naturally, through alcohol consumption. Having your brain battered who knows!

Strangely, I was watching an episode today my DH put on and I initially read it as 'At home with the Furry's' 😂

I was wondering how much 'home schooling' their 12yr old daughter actually has? Who is teaching her? And teaching what? Clearly its culturally different, but I wouldn't normally expect a 12yr old to be in a strapless dress with 4 inch heels in a church, or anywhere! 😕

We’ve watched half of it. I couldn’t cope with Tyson although he reminds me of my brother in law (not a good thing). I’m from Morecambe though and it’s funny to see them in Atkinson’s fish and chip shop, The Morecambe Hotel, even the local tip! I’m not surprised to see them in Asda though as I’ve been begging them before doing my shopping, never felt so small in my whole life!

Tyson comes across as a right arsehole and I think Paris should LTB. She puts up with a lot.

Yes I am watching they have help so Paris is not doing everything in that big house. I know personally Tyson is very good charity wise and especially to children with disabilities wish reality tv would show this side.

i dont get why paris is asking her teen daughter what she wants to do when she grows up, but hauled her out of school at 11ish!?

Paris is a door mat though. She should at least give her kids a chance of a normal life and education!

I did not know that there 12 year old daughter was not in school I thought this was not allowed for settled travellers. I know travellers that do travel in caravans are home schooled well some of them. They may have a home tutor for her hopefully as they can afford it. Watching this gives a bad impression and would lead non traveller/gypsys to believe that this is the case with the majority of girls not finishing education. This is not true i know so many that have good careers and have been to uni which is great. No parent should want there daughter to be a stay at home mum just there to look after the kids and look pretty.

i am not qualified in anything but tyson seems to do whatever he wants and fcuk the consequences because he's bipolar.

paris reminds me of emma willis with what she deals with with matt willis etc etc.

i think the tyson programme is really sad and it literally leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. whereas the kardashians makes me think of baby goats and a lifetimes supply of galaxy (i.e. good)

Anyone can home school. You just deregister.
You don't need school to go to university, although it helps. Plenty of home educated people go on to do very well. Although Tyson's daughter does seem to have a poor attitude and school is probably the place she needs to be because of that.
