I was about to write the same! I know they want to move the story along but this really is completely unrealistic.

My Dh had a similar situation thankfully he's fine just needed some medication, anyway he was well over a week getting a gp appointment never mind all the rest ! It just annoyed me he was kicked in the groin on Monday and had all his tests and a diagnosis by Wednesday.

They were out drinking or something and Eve left her to go off on a date (I think) and her sister got killed by a hit and run driver.

Her parents blamed her for leaving her sister and that's why she fell out with them. She blamed herself and went off the rails.

I don't know how she ended up being a solicitor at the same time as all of that though

Ricky is Janine's brother so he is the baby's genetic uncle. That must trump Linda's claim. I see from Wiki that Janine had a total of six surnames and her occupations are listed variously as barmaid, businesswoman and prostitute. Plus she's been murderer a jailbird. She's had a busy life.
