To the other oldies watched from the beginning ..group ...who saying ...ohhh Cindy AND Ian are back ...and rubbing their hands with glee at how this story might unfold .

Everyone is allowed their own opinion...but I do think longevity will make interpreting the episodes differently.

I heard Walford. Can't believe they told Cindy over the phone that Lucy had been killed! Ffs. Someone should have been there to tell her in person. Then they could have stopped her from coming back to the square, thus resulting in putting her whole new life in jeopardy!

I don't understand after everything that she was told about putting George and the girls' lives at risk, Cindy thought it was OK to do the same by shacking up with Ian and Peter?!? Surely that was dangerous for them 😳

George is quite a good actor imo, Cindy/Rose not so much. Why did Linda have on top of her head? Looked like a couple of pom-poms.

I am loving these episodes ...and it has made the chat a lot more interesting than the usual ..WTF have I just watched themes !!🤣!

I really enjoyed those episodes! even though it’s pretty much reached Bobby Ewing in the shower territory! Looking forward to how it all unfolds!

Well I enjoyed that. Cracking episode. The writers must be having so much fun at the moment!

I noticed that Cindy was careful to avoid saying that it was Bobby who caused the 'accident' that resulted in Lucy's death. George will not be pleased when that comes out!

Great episode but won’t it be awful if Lucy was indeed murdered as Cindy and detective were saying in the car due to the nomarks being after Cindy.

The viewers didn't find out what really happened to Lucy Beale until nearly a year later ( Feb 2015 for the EE anniversary ) so Cindy would have had to have been on the run / hiding until it became clear it wasn't the Fosters involved.
However, she still decided to stay away for a further eight years and didn't go back to Marbella. Which is a bit odd , but maybe she was advised not to return there ?
(It's all very silly, but I guess we have to kind of go with it now !)

So will it turn out that Lucy was murdered and Bobby's been wrongfully framed by his family ? The Beatles have a pathological vanishing streak, maybe it's Bobby's turn ?

During the anniversary episodes in 2015 , we saw a flash back to Bobby hitting Lucy with a music box. She already had an injury to her head ( although I can't remember why ) and Jane helped him cover it up by taking her to the common to make it look as if Lucy had been murdered in her car
It was all nothing to do with the Fosters, but the fact she was a drug addict and being hit by Bobby ( he didn't mean to kill her )

Well I bloody loved it! Can’t stand Michelle Collins but good to see Adam Woodyatt back doing his usual licking of the lips to display his distress. The two new girls in The Vic have really improved. All we need now is the return of Danny Dyer (surely that can’t be too far off). Maybe it’s him on the floor of the pub in the Xmas episodes? Not dead hopefully. You never know 🤣

I'm surprised that Adam Woodyatt has come back to be honest. I had the impression he wanted out for good, but only from what I've read online. Clearly not the case at all
Kathy seems to have forgiven Peter ( sort of) although I would have asked him for the money back. I wonder if she'll forgive Ian too ?
He did leave under a big cloud and Sharon also tried to poison him too!
