Less well-known scifi series?

I just got addicted to Biohackers (German scifi series) and binge watched it in a fortnight.

Anyone have any recommendations for less well-known scifi series? I love everything from Orphan Black, Dark, to stuff like Babylon 5, X Files and Star Trek.

DH watched The Rain (Danish) on Netflix which I started off mocking but then annoyingly got sucked into.

And they managed to wrap up the series - so annoying when a sci-fi gets cancelled part way through and you're left hanging for what happens next!

Ben Browder was hot!
Watching the Expanse now on Prime

Haven and Fringe are two of my favourites. Both are on Prime at the minute although Fringe isn't free.

The Expanse is truly fantastic once it gets going.
For All Mankind is occasionally great. There is way too much of one particular plotline is S2 that continues into S3, but the great moments make it all worth it.

(It's also slightly possible to imagine that FAM is actually a prequel to The Expanse. They aren't really connected but the makers of The Expanse had a bit of fun with it, and they put a plaque on the wall at the Luna colony stating implying it was the first moon base from FAM.)

I'm also enjoying Foundation at the moment. Very different from the books but I think it's good as a series in it's own right.

And it's a different type of sci-fi but the first series of Severance was great.

I loved earth final conflict back in the day but it's probably horribly dated now

Alias

Lexx (though that one was very very strange. As is if red dwarf met the bdsm scene and just ran with it)

I've enjoyed a few of those mentioned already and also Dark Angel

Rainbowshit · 10/08/2023 17:55

Altered carbon

Rummikub · 10/08/2023 18:00

Dark Angel too

Agents of Shield. Even tho it was marvel no one I knew irl watched it.

Travellers, on Netflix, first series is fab, following ones struggle a bit with convoluted plotting.
