Always!
Can't stand Davina's over-sincerity - much prefer Nicky Campbell's demeanour. but... often life changing moments for some people.

I've only just got into it, have been watching all the past series as well as the current. There have been some real jaw droppers.

@Saverage Theres also Long Lost Family US which is quite good, and I think is on Quest or More 4, or one of those channels. They do it slightly differently, but still fascinating.

We discovered my uncle was adopted after my grandparents died. My mother, his sister, never knew until then. Lots of unanswered questions, as my gran had children naturally afterwards. We’re not sure whether he ever knew. He never let on if he did.

@Riverlee
We unravelled a rather muddled and incomplete piece of family history trawling through a couple of suitcases of old letters, photographs, birth, marriage and death certificates we found in my aunt's loft after her death - she never married and had no children. We found that her mother, my mum's mum, had been given away within the family from one sister to another (who had divorced [from an alcoholic and abusive man] and who had no children) - I do remember my nan mention something about this and feeling rejected but I was a child and didn't really understand it - I thought she was the youngest but in fact she was the oldest and was given away at 6 years of age - she still had contact with her mother and brothers - lived in the same town just didn't live with them.
