Watched the Dry on ITVX and enjoyed it. Any one else seen it and does anyone know of anything similar?

Sorry nothing I can think of similar.
I watched it but wasn't keen.(read the book first so this is probably why)
If you like reading you should try Jane harpers books.
The lost man is similar to the dry.

I thought it was great! Have you watched This Way Up by Irish comedian Aisling Bea? That’s also heartfelt and funny with some serious themes too.

The Dry tv series is totally different from the unrelated Jane Harper book of the same name.

I am 5 years sober. Although I don't follow the AA - I am spontaneous sober and it is a bit annoying that the AA route is always showed as the only way to get sober. However I did find The Dry very relatable. Single Drunk Female is very similar subject matter on Disney +

My bad I thought she meant the dry which is a film adapted from the Jane harper book.
Didn't realise their was a TV series 😳

I haven't seen The Dry but Radio Times podcast recommends Bad Sisters, which I think is on Apple+ Sharon Horgan co developed it from a Flemish series and is starring in it, so if you get Apple and like her kind of comedy, it might be one for you.
