I just started rewatching this. Not seen it in years. I remember counting down the days till the next episode when it first aired back in the 90s - I'd turn off the lights and sit glued to it and just enjoy being scared 😁

Watching now, and man, the cosy 90s small town Twin Peaksy feel is amazing.

Ooh I was thinking about the circus episode recently, it's one of those programmes that changed as the seasons went on, I liked the early stuff before all the alien abduction plotlines. What are you watching it on?

I watched it for the first time last year. I actually thought it was dated really well. Hard to believe it's nearly 30 years old

And the Tooms episode is next up for me. I've forgotten quite a lot of them, which is great as it's like watching for the first time, but I bloody well remember Tooms 😱

So many great episodes - although I'm still not that keen on many of the alien conspiracy ones!

Ah I loved the X Files and yes Tombs was my favourite! Played by the creepy-in-real-life-too-guy who married that 16 year old with the big tits, Courtney? WTF her parents were thinking....

Anyway I gave up on the X Files after serie 4 or 5 as it just got shit and seemed to run out of good ideas.

Also can't believe Fag Man is still alive in real life too. Skinner hasn't aged.

We’re watching it with DS who loves it. I think in hindsight they made Scully damsel in distress too many times whilst fooling us we had an intelligent liberated protagonist… but hell Mulder is still hot so that’s ok 😁
