Unpopular opinion but when Ty said to Ella B 'shame it was our last kiss' I believe that he wasn't flirting just pointing out it wouldn't be happening again.

Completely agree with this. It was definitely how he meant it. It just wasn't completely clear because he had a nervous laugh going on at the same time. Maya said the same on Aftersun last night too.

I do too @kenyaswhiterefrigerator i don’t think he’s clever enough to have come up with the alternate explanation on the fly like that. Plus he is so inarticulate it absolutely stands to reason that he’s said one thing and it’s been interpreted as another.

this Is how I saw it too, but watching it again, I can see how it was interpreted like that tbh.

It was more flirty than I remember watching it back.

It was always “100%” that Mitch would go back to Abi. Poor Scott. He is so lovely. Did anyone hear Paige from previous LI talking about him-he is her ex, saying how he is being portrayed is exactly how he is, sweet, kind, honest and loyal. And that it was right person wrong time for them…

I feel for Amber and Josh.

Josh came in guns blazing but it was obvious he was sent in for Jess, and that just hasn't worked out. Maybe if it had been sooner and he had longer, but Sammy has got under her skin

And poor Amber.....how she got past screening is beyond me. I know she has a famous dad and perhaps that was key in her being put on the show. But she is too young.....a previous poster on the last thread said if someone told you she was 15/16, you'd believe it. I don't think she's snooty, but she doesn't want to kiss someone that is too old for her and she remotely doesn't fancy (Scott or Josh). She's been given zero airtime because there is simply no one for her. Perhaps that Kodi guy from Casa might have worked as he was younger and more bouncy?

I think if they go, people will give a sigh of relief because watching poor am er flounder around is nothing but embarrassing and humiliating for her. Even the editing makes it look as the girls hardly give her the time of day

I don’t think he meant it like that either. You can tell more from his body language than the actual words. Ella B was totally sticking it on him and you can tell Ty was uncomfortable.

I actually felt sorry for the both of them last night as you can tell they both really like each other and Ella B was totally shit-stirring. She did tell Ella that he said it in a flirty way and then outright lied to Ty about it.

I think Whitney has her eyes on the prize and is trying to sabotage Ella and Ty, she's very calculating and she's been one of the more vocal contestants making snide comments to Scott.

Love island USA is about to start, did you see Maura Higgins got a job as a back stage presenter (not sure exactly what that is?)

I didn't realise they used to date! Maybe they'll rekindle on the outside, I liked Paige it's a shame she lost her job as a paramedic because she posts photos on social media in a bikini she seemed really gutted.

Whatever it is, Ty and Ella don't make each other happy and it really shows. Ella doesn't trust Ty with his track history (nor should she) and him now saying "what's the point of caring for someone if it's just going to make you miserable" is a fair point in the circumstances.

I don't want Zach and Molly and their set-up arrangement to win, even though Zach is my favourite boy.

We'll probably vote for Whitney and Lochan although they very much feel like background players in this whole charade.

I don't follow this about Mitch going back to Abi. He's dumped Abi for Ella2 or have I missed something?

Yep they showed the clip on Aftersun, and Maya and Sam disagreed on what they thought Ty meant.
It was probably a bit of both - flirting a bit, but with no intention of taking it further.

Same - I don't think he's bothered about her any more.

Ella B is a decent bombshell, at least she's actually making an effort to get to know the boys! I do think Abi being really intense about it will ultimately put Mitch off her if anything, there is an irony to that as he has been intense in the past too- so maybe a good match hah. Ty won't leave original Ella but I don't think they're a good match romantically, if she doesn't trust him now in a controlled environment (understandable though to be fair) then there's no hope on the outside. Sammy was blatantly upset about being left single rather than Jess being recoupled, she's just his safe bet and wish he'd see it. Whitney and L and Molly and Z are never on screen are they?!

They haven't shown any challenges for a little bit have they, the start of the series looked promising as there were a few but seems to be lacking now.

I agree what Ty said could be interpreted either way, but at the end of the day if he wanted to kiss Ella B he would have by now as she's said she'd be open to it and he hasn't so I'd just take it as being said to close the door but in his mind a bit more politely.

They stopped it because it messed with their heads too much. Even though that's the aim of every single twist/challenge 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ty is not going for anyone else now……all eyes on the prize. He knew the narrative he was going with from the start, all bad boy comes good. Think his anger last night came from Ella ruining his plan! Can’t see them lasting on the outside the poor girl has barely smiled since she entered the villa.

Really strange how Whitney/Lochlan and Molly/Zach are barely being shown. Have no idea whether these couples are real or not!

I said in a previous thread, they should each be shown for a few minutes every episode, even if it's just them having a laugh or whatever, but it all seems so much more contrived when some couples are never even seen.

The older series where we saw lots of carrying on and laughter were so much more enjoyable.

This series started well, but has just become drama after drama, and no fun whatsoever.

I agree - Ty and Ella will stumble on. But they may lose a few supporters as they really are quite draining to watch. As a mum I just want to give them a good shake! 😄

Kady and Ouzy also not getting any airtime at the moment but they are less of a couple than Molly/Zach and Whitney/Lochan (obviously definition of 'couple' is very loose in Love Island-land!)

I'm surprised the producers haven't shown more of M & Z - maybe they chat about stuff that can't be broadcast...? Or more likely, they are so utterly boring that they can't be edited to appear interesting in any way!

After saying that, Zach has grown on me and I would have liked to see him with someone different.
