It's probably not going to look great that the Beeb chose to show the Svitloina interview.

They have started the broadcast of many matches late this week- usually because Isa was wittering about something inane. Or the weather. They could have delayed this 5 minutes.

They don't seem to have a courtside commentary 'whisper' spot at Wimbledon - which seems to have become a 'thing' at recent tournaments (with Tim 'whispering' up a set of stairs with Dani, mid matches).

They wouldn't have skipped the interview if it was a Brit who had won- even if it delayed Djok.

I think this may be a tougher match than the Stan match. I am not sure it will be over by the curfew.

The other day they missed the first three games of a match just talking rubbish. There's neither head nor tail to their broadcasting decisions.

They skipped Iga’s interview too to go over to Elina’s match, so it wasn’t just Elina’s interview they skipped.

I was flipping between the two matches on iplayer on my phone, so saw Elina being interviewed. She was asked about the Harry Styles tickets she gave away and was fan-girling, hoping he would see and give her some more tickets, I think

Stupid, uneducated crowd at the end. I'm guessing they thought Vika walked off court without shaking hands but she knew Elina wouldn't and so acknowledged her from afar and left. I like Vika (despite her noise!) and felt sorry for her.

Yes fizzy I'm* *going tomorrow, Court 1. So Danii, Sabalenka (who I'm really not fussed about seeing) and then Grigor, who I hope wins. I know I'm in the minority but I'm really not keen on Rune. Would have loved to have seen Carlos vs Matteo and Ons vs Petra but it was blindingly obvious they would be on Centre Court.

Obviously, I'm not watching Cock but I hope Hubi can come up with some magic. If he can't win (he won't ) I hope he at least extends the match past tonight, just to inconvenience Djok.

kazza it really is a crowd issue. Anyone who has bothered to watch tennis over the last year, will know the position of the Ukranian players. Some choose not to shake hands, but do 'tap racquets' . Most do nothing. Yet it's not the first time they've decided to boo the opponent.

I like Vika - she doesn't mince her words, and is no stranger to controversy, she will probably have something to say in her press conference.
