Tennis: WIMBLEDON: which round is it anyway?

Does anyone else find it easier to watch matches when they don’t really ‘know’ either of the players? If I don’t have a dog in the fight I can sit back and enjoy the tennis rather than biting my fingers to the bone .So I am enjoying this one because I don’t have the faintest scoobie about either of them , am not going to google and am just going to enjoy the battle.

I used to when I first started watching tennis, but I find now that many only last a season or two before being superseded by another batch, and I simply can’t keep up. Especially true of the womens game, I cheer when I see a player with dark hair rather than a blond pony tail, because then I have a half decent chance of remembering her name.🙂So now I just watch.
