Voted Scott and Amber. Feel it’s unlikely they won’t be bottom two/three though. Producers will make it up as they go and get islanders to decide from a bigger bunch if the vote doesn’t go their way, and they’ll go anyway.

Be hilarious if they were in top 3 from the voting and we got one of the ‘exclusive’ couples out. Surely they don’t need to be in there anymore if the point of the show is love and not Boux Avenue deals.

I loved Love Island from 2017 to last year (apart from the winter ones) but something's gone really wrong now for me.

Everyone just seems unbelievably stupid compared to previous years and I've only managed to dip onto the app once a week rather than stomach a full hour.

Like Big Brother, I think, sadly, it's over now.

What a weird episode. Utterly pointless recoupling except to put the star crossed lovers back together 🙄

There must be something about Scott we aren’t seeing. None of them like him. And yet. The likes of Mal and Mehdi who have come out have said he’s ok. I don’t get it.

I also voted Scott and Amber as did DD 😂

I didn't love Scott saying he needed to get back in the game.

I was surprised it was a compatible couple vote, as it puts seemingly public favourite Scott, in danger.

But I think the producers want him out - if there was a final today, he might win despite not being in a 'love' match couple.

Any other vote may have put Molly at risk and they don't want that so soon after giving her the rare privilege of returning - what a waste if she now left so soon after.

It's gone very dry this year. No real couples and a real lack of personalities. I struggled last summer too (don't bother with the winter one). I think it needs a big reformat or refresh or it has had its day.

None of the comments to Scott have any substance to suggest he has actually done anything. There would need to be significant editing not only of what he’s done but the islanders discussing it. Instead it loud, undesirable, game player whilst Sammy is a walking red flag given a free pass.

How can it be reported that 'several big names' are dumped? What would be the point in a public vote tonight if this dumping has already gone ahead?

Also, hats off to Montell for actually mentioning a woman's intelligence rather than body, face, eyes, smile, blah blah

Myself and DD have voted for Scott and Amber too - don’t like being manipulated by the wording of the vote!

Sammy and Jess, least compatible he is a twat she deserves better. I like Jess but they just argue too much and his head turns to much. Ty and Ella also argue too much think Ty just putting up with her to stay longer.
Ella seems to be jealous off Oussy getting with Kady.
Kady, trying to stir for Molly about been closed off why go discussing it with others.

The only tiny bit of excitement in the show tonight was would Mitch or Scott pick first the rest was boring.

I’m so confused about this Scott thing now.

Abi in the challenge saying he’s using her because he wants to stay in the villa, and that he didn’t want to get to know her in Casa.

I’m pretty sure she pulled him for a chat first? And said she wanted to get to know him?!

And also, her saying he didn’t want to know in Casa goes against the whole ‘Scott tried to talk to all the girls and no-one wanted him’ story the girls got from Amber?!?

I’ve voted for him just to piss the other islanders off, tbh, but the whole things odd now.

What I found interesting was Abi was very keen towards Scott, he starts getting a roasting in the challenge and she suddenly jumps ship. The vibe feels group mentality. Ive seen it in real life and in my younger years probably did judge people based on other peoples influence. Even had it done to me because I once dated a bloke that started dating a “friend” and I couldn’t breathe without being bitched about and the bitching spread.

yeah, it's v confusing how it was reported that there were some BIG NAMES leaving, yet.....nada.

Recoupling nights are TOTALLY pointless. There was no drama at all as a result - everyone just went back to being cozy, and Scott will continue to pursue Abi, so nothing actually changed.

The speech from Abi in that challenge was odd, she made a beeline for mitch in casa and certainly wasn't entertaining anyone else.
Scott probably didn't try casa week because he was coupled with Catherine at that time.
The bullying of Scott is seemingly the only genuine thing in the villa this time. Everything else is highly produced. Boring and predictable series this time, possibly bad editing and casting.

God it’s been boring the last few nights. The recoupling was pointless. I’m glad Zach said to Scott he could have been nicer to Amber.
Mitch is so desperate in his chat, it makes me laugh. I know he’s a bit of a knob but I don’t mind him.

Kady and Ouzy being a power couple, lovely eyes but not a bit of oomph between them. Both very lovely to look at but that’s it, no chemistry, no charisma.
I still like Whitney.
Molly and Zach are boring but I don’t care one way or the other.

Agree. Definitely no chemistry between Ouzy and Kady. Seems like they find each other attractive but doesn’t seem to be anything else there

Caught up on last night. I absolutely agree that Scott is playing the game but the hypocritical thing is that they all are. You cannot stay in if you aren't coupled up. You therefore have to try and make a connection or get into a friendship couple. So many of them aren't remotely interested in their partners or sexually attracted to them so I think it is truly wild that they are all calling Scott out on what they are doing on some level.

Not one of them has gone on love island at this stage to find love, least of all Kady. It's to become influencers, get brand deals etc so I haven't got time for the bullying of Scott at all.

Don't agree with those saying there must be something we haven't seen to explain why they don't like Scott. Do you think that about kids that get bullied at school or people ostracised at work? All it takes is for a queen bee and his/her followers to take against a person and that can be that.

I realised last night when I went flicked through the options for voting how there is literally not one couple that I’m rooting for. This series has been the worst one yet. I think they need to sack all the producers and get fresh blood in or just call it a day. The show is so heavily manipulated now and is a victim of its own success. It’s just so utterly fake and boring.

I agree with this. Also, even if he was horrid, that doesn't entitle them to be vile back to him. The way they treat him and react to him says more about them than it does about him tbh

I'd agree with this. I also think it's normally the women who ostracise someone which is why maybe it's caught people by surprise with the guys doing it

Catching up on last night. Gutted I missed the vote, but if I hadn't I would have voted for Whitney and Lochan. She's by far my favourite islander and he seems like a decent guy who actually has something about him. From the chats we've seen between the two of them they seem to have some genuine banter and it doesn't seem forced. They're the ones I'm rooting for anyway!

Not much chemistry between Ouzy and Kady. He's beautiful but Kady isn't the right girl for him; I suspect he needs someone to bring him out of his shell a bit and Kady is too calculating for that.

Sammy, urgh. He's going to break Jess' heart.

Mitch going a bit overkill with Abby but he's had a shocker since day 1 in there so kind of can't blame him for laying it on thick.

Zach and molly; no point in them being there. They bring zero entertainment factor.

It's not what I'd expect to have seen had they cared. Normally you'd get 'oh bro man' and some vague sympathies towards him. They all just laughed.
