But the Catherine thing. I never liked her. She just agrees with whoever she's with. (Usually Whitney)

But when she argues. She does my head in.

She literally just shouts 'No! No! No' at the other person. Just invalidating how the other person feels (really quite painful to watch when Scott was vulnerable to her and opened up and admitted pride etc. and she just kept saying no at him)

No one can have a reasonable discussion with anyone just stomping their tippy toes and shouting no. I can't fucking stand her.

Agree with all of that. Absolutely dumbstruck by how horrible Catherine has been. She was my favourite along with Whitney for the first few weeks. She has a callousness which is difficult to watch. I really feel for Scott.

I know it’s shallow but can you imagine the beauty of any kids Ella and Ty have? Or Ella and Ouzy for that matter?! Ella’s cheekbones should have their own show! She’s extraordinarily beautiful.

Are some of you ok?

Frankly when someone puts themselves on a reality show like this they're opening themselves up to the public. They want the fame and notoriety. You can't go on love island and claim you had no idea you'd be talked about on social media. It's literally the aim of the game

Unfortunately if you're a bit of a bell end that will also come out... and be talked about all over social media.

I'm adult enough to realise they're not my mortal enemy. However some of them have seriously unattractive personality traits. So yeah it makes me annoyed when they're being vile to other islanders.

I don’t get why the Cath/Scott thing has got so toxic.
As I recall they weren’t exclusive and she met someone else. He was pissed off; she reacted defensively. But he never seemed that bothered about her-nor she him. When the limo turned up for Casa she was racing towards it.
So I wonder if all of this is scripted

I can’t get excited about the Catherine / Scott thing - because I suspect it’s either

a) completely manufactured by the producers

or

b) indicative of some issue between the islanders that we’re not being shown. The broadcast narrative we’ve seen really doesn’t make sense without more.

I've just downloaded last night's episode. Cos it was bugging me about who said what...Leah starts off by saying to the other girls "didnt he try with all the girls in.." and then Kady shouts over at Scott "apparently none of the girls wanted you, that's why"

I agree, the Mitch clip on First Look definitely has an over-produced & set up vibe. The boys thought it was hilarious at the time and now they are suddenly more affronted by that then any other movie. Seems set up to me to turn opinion against Mitch.

I think what Leah/Kady meant by 'noone wanted you' wasnt to be mean to scott.

I think they were trying to point out that he just didnt find any connections in casa, as opposed to him fervently insisiting he stayed loyal because he was so pure and into Catherine...

I do wonder if he's being edited favourably because he really doesn't seem popular. From how he comes across from what we're being shown, I'd be all over that so I'm surprised none of the girls seem to like him.

I suspect selective editing also. He was one of my fave boys, but it is strange if none of the boys (who don't appear to have high standards) like him either.

considering Catherine spent days in tears because Sammy said Scott wasn’t attracted to her, you’d think her and the other girls would be more sympathetic.

All I can say is pillow would be raging if it were the other way round.

My theory is they all went off him when he laughed at Ty.

Ty is the circus master, and Scott doesn’t bow down to him.

He made a couple of comments to Ty, ‘not everyone thinks like you’ etc

Also, do we not remember when the boys were giving each other haircuts, Ty fucked Scott’s hair up on purpose, and all the boys were laughing.

Im prepared to change my mind if evidence of him behaving badly materialises, but as far as I can see, he’s being ostracised because he doesn’t fall in line with the villa hierarchy.
Catherine and Whitney were fine with Scott, until Ty started his campaign against him that he was using Catherine.

Fair points...I am of the opinion that the majority is not always right, sometimes it's just a ganging up, so your observations might be correct, especially as Ty does seem to be the Villa head of boys

Nobody on here has to explain to YOU or anyone else why they say what they say about Love Island contestants. They certainly don't need your approval or permission.

Ella and Ty? No. Ty is not attractive, and Ella is average. Don't know what you're seeing.

Whitney is way prettier than Ella, and Ouzy is waaay better looking than Ty.

Ty is short and stubby with no neck, and he's a 4/10 at best. Also Ella has a face like a slapped arse 95% of the time. How you can call her 'extraordinarily beautiful' just utterly eludes me.

Ouzy is waaaay better than Ty. Proper top tier. Ty is a low tier.

Ella also has a really odd smile.

It doesn't help as I never asked for explanation or approval, and I don't care what people think of islanders. Everyone is entitled to their own (sometimes misguided) views.

Sometimes I'll jump in and express my own view if I feel someone is being labelled or targeted unfairly, as is also my right.

They were all well able to talk about 'not having connections' when they were talking about themselves but when they are talking about Scott suddenly they lose that language and have to say 'No one wanted you' instead? Why were they all cackling if it what they meant was it's such a shame you didn't have any connections in there? They got carried away with the bitterness of the night and went in on Scott, there isn't any other way to explain it. They meant to be mean then Leah got all wide eyed when Scott pointed out a harsh truth to her. Most people have been saying she is boring with nothing to say for herself for weeks now, Scott knows it, every guy that has tried to get to know her knows it. Even the bloke she is with now said he had more in common with the casa girl, presumably because she actually spoke.

Because Ty has told them to. Honestly they’re all such followers!
