Martin didn't know Ruby was pregnant (at least that's how I remember it) she did a (not-baby) Abbie and pretended to be pregnant then tried desperately to get pregnant before she was found out. Then she faked a miscarriage after the stair incident with Stacey and then got arrested on the day she did the test which was positive before she told Martin (I think )

I reckon Martin and Stacey will get back together, probably after some kind of heroic rescue by Martin from Theo, maybe involving Lily and her baby to 'resolve' that storyline, then one of them will utter the magic words 'this is forever, nothing will ever come between us again' at the exact moment a black cab arrives in the square with Ruby and her baby inside (no spoilers obvs but no one is allowed to be happy in Albert Sq)

Oh and I also thought that the dress comment was a slip-up! And I didn't spot the cufflinks so will have to rewatch dammit!

Regarding Stacey, I thought she was completely in love with Kheerat, then he was arrested, she seemed to grieve for about ten minutes then she’s back to normal.

The weird thing about Ruby is there was no mention whatsoever of her court case or prison sentence after she was carted off in the police car. She was definitely married to Martin so I’d have expected him to have at least commented on how long she’s inside for and any plans for a divorce. I suppose if we do ever hear her name mentioned it will mean they are gearing up for her return in the Black Taxi (why doesn’t anyone on EE ever take an Uber😭)

I also think Theo slipped up saying Stacey would look good in her new dress, it was just in her hand. I still find it odd that Martin is the only one who's suspicious of Theo, I would have thought Eve was a better judge of character than she is.

Seeing Karen at any buffet never gets old for me! I can't remember which episode it was a while ago in the Vic but she was giving Bernie instructions on what to collect in the Tupperware while she loaded up on a different section of the buffet!
