Blue Bloods - Erin Reagan

Is it just me who finds her incredibly annoying? She's always going in yelling at people before she thinks. She treats Anthony like he's a child and then very occasionally apologises to him after.

Overall, I'm not convinced that the script writers at Blue Bloods are particularly good at writing for/about women and her character really highlights this.

Anyone else think about this?

I think her character has got worse as the seasons have gone on. I liked her at the start. I get the impression that they don't really know where to take it - they've dabbled with the 'getting back with ex' thing which is so predictable.

She is MAJOR annoying, although Edie is pretty hot on her heels for being a meddling nightmare! I've no idea why Aaaaanthhhony continues to work with her....

Yeah I only like Danny (and Baez) I think!

Danny is the same with Baez though - she's like a junior partner. drives me mad.

I love Blue Bloods but I def think the writers can’t work out how a woman can be strong and power and still a woman. They are great at different kinds of strength in men, all macho but very differently across the generations. It’s like they know woman need to be vulnerable so make them shouty then sorry. Still watch it though.
