The smart money is on the Saturday after the end of the Six Nations, so 22nd March.

Can't say I'm overly looking forward to this new series with that Catherine (overacting is my middle name) Tate woman .
If life were fair his new assistant would be Sally Sparrow... , failing that bring back Rose or Martha.

Moonlight, which has just started on Living, isn't too bad. A bit predictable vampire stuff but reasonable performances.

oggsfrog - i agree.i missed the one she did and really cant imagine her being anything other than mix of her characters.id like martha or rose back or just anyone else!

Apparently (have an inside man) Tate is very good. She has a much more motherly role than his usual sidekicksand so it's a completely different dynamic. I was very but have been reassured that it will all be alright

I see that Amazon page has an offer to buy it with the Christmas special DVD - but previously the Christmas specials have always been included in the next series' boxed set.

I wonder if that's changed or whether Amazon are just trying to pull a fast one...

Torchwood is vv good, but Dr who is better because of the blimmin lovely Mr Tennant

I'm pretty sure it will be March 22 as that's the Easter weekend. Only series 3 began earlier and that was because there was a mid series break to accommodate.

NB; Torchwood has a kid friendly early evening repeat on Wednesdays around 7pm

Isn't it Thursdays at 7 for Torchwood? I have to say I prefer the child friendly version - loses a lot of the silly "extra gay" bits Russell T Davies is determined to stick in.

Every other series started on Easter Sunday but I don't think it does this year. Think it's in April. We will find out soon enough

Can anyone think of a sensible reason why the BBC have not announced the new season schedule yet? Or are they just being silly beggars? Yes, I know it will be in "spring" but I have had daffodils in my garden for three weeks now so a slightly more precise date would be appreciated.
