Does no-one else care that G4 lost?!!!

That stupid woman did it!!! The judges were going on that what she said wouldn't influence the votes but of course it did: all the people who had already voted for Steve picked up the phone and voted again, just to make sure! I was astounded that G4 lost - they were so much better last night and are such talented young men (not to mention sexy) and they really really deserved it. I heard on the BBC news this morning that they were in the lead until the Osborne woman opened her big fat gob. I think she was right in what she said, incidentally, but how daft can you get - of course it was going to get a reaction - the wrong one!!!

Agree that Steve is crap and fake.... but doe it matter ???? there are more important things or TV show like Striclty Come Dancing Grin
If G4 is really good then they will find someone to give them a contract....

Gosh, I'm really surprised you say that - I thihnk they are really talented. I just think there are so many "musical" acts around at the moment who don't have an ounce of talent (and Steve's not too far off that) that those who really do have something deserve to do well, and it bugs me that Sharon O was so stupid as to create a false result (in that I believe that G4 would have won if she'd stayed quiet) by speaking without thinking.

Well, that's hardly their fault, is it?! They cried, and it wouldn't have been so cheesy if it hadn't been slowed down.

i dunno, all the crying business looked really fake to me (although it probably wasn't - i'm sure they felt genuinely emotional) - it was more the way it had been manipulated to make "good tv"

also, I don't deny that the G4 boys are talented, far more so than steve, but i would far prefer to hear them singing classical music (nessun dorma was good)

IMHO FIXED FIXED FIXED (and not just the final).
G4 obviously couldn't win - Simon already has a similar type of 'act'.

Steve is creepy, slimey and not even an amateur - I thought the whole point behind these type of (sh*te) shows is to give someone a chance who otherwies wouldn't be heard. He's done it before, warms up for various concerts...surely if he was any good, someone would have snatched him up and given him a contract already.

Must add - there were other acts who didn't make it to the final, who were a lot better that Steve or G4.

SONY have signed up G4 I hear. I think Steve will do a Michelle McManus and disappear, his first single is Phil Collings Against All Odds next week, and G4 are doing the 'trendy' song the week after Christmas, can't remember it's name, too up to date for me!!

Steve isn't fake, false, or any other words that have been used to describe him! He's a genuinely nice guy and admittedly, he hasn't got the best voice in the world, but he must have something to have got as far as he has. He is only am amateur (regardless of what the bloody media say)... take it from someone who has the good fortune to know him!
