Soooo glad I'm not the only one getting wound up by the clothes. The boots with skinny jeans didn't look right. Would have been pixie boots with a low heel, surely.

Well whatever they were I had a brown pair and I thought I was the dogs. And come to think of it, drainpipes were old hat and it was baggy trousers by 1981. With the obligatory lady di blouse and the big fringe.

Love the 80's nostalgia. Hownever just a bit confused re the get drunk and shag bit. Thought that was more 80's mentality than the noughtys. As I did it then but not now then again I am 20 yrs older

Yes, drainpipes were old hat then weren't they?I seem to remember something called Bowie trousers...very baggy, tight at ankles with zillions of pleats....

I also wore all these terrible items, even down to Boy George get up, complete with rags in hair.

They seem to have got the men's clothes right though
