Started a spoiler thread purely to discuss 'Loch Henry ' as I want to know what people thought of the ending. I was a bit confused , it was the mum who did the murders wasn't it ? Why did Davis look at the BAFTA award so oddly at the end ? Maybe I need to rewatch it.
I liked 'Joan is awful ' , but I had no idea who the main actress was , so I think some of that went over my head too.
Not seen the others.

Interesting take. From watching what happened when the demon played the future. We see clips from season 4 onwards, including one of my favourites, metalhead. Does it mean everything from season 4 didn't happen? Seeing that Demon 79 is also the last episode. It felt like a finale.

I enjoyed Demon 79. Just disappointed one of the victims wasn't that bitch of a colleague 😆

With mazey day, did mazey day shoot the photographer or did she shoot herself. I thought she was going to shoot herself but had doubts at the end.

The whole episode also reminded me of the time paparazzi's where vicious towards female celebs especially.

@debbrianna she shot herself I think, when she said "shoot me" I took it to mean photograph her. Both have devastating affects and all that.

I don't remember much about season 4. My take on it was, people in the 80s were terrified of the Russians launching nuclear weapons and this episode was a new updated threat ? I saw them walk off hand in hand but couldn't work out what what would happen. There was a film recently on Netflix which explored the same theme, it was by the director of The Sixth Sense.

Question : in thé vidéo torture scène, who is filming ? 😏

At first whatsisname's dad (the deceased cop) is holding it and Iain is seen. He then hands it to Iain who films the rest.

Joan is Awful - big fat meh. Didn’t even much care for the cameos
Loch Henry - loved it and it was a real swipe at the True Crime genre
Beyond the Sea - loved the concept a bit predictable but I though Josh Hartnett’s arc from good to evil was brilliant and I have a huge crush on Aaron Paul.
Mazey Day - by far the weakest episode. The twist was too random.
Demon79 - possibly my favourite. The aesthetics made me very nostalgic! I also thought it was hilarious. The demon speaking through the bit of wood - “hello I’m a demon” 😂 and the choreography and acting in the scene where the main character and the bloke with the knife were too scared to hurt each other was hysterical and disturbing in equal measure

Did anyone else notice the names of the other nominees for the BAFTA award?
