Not at the moment. But there are some good shows - Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte for romance; The Crown; the Harlen Coben mysteries; unbelievable with Toni Collette - amazing. But it can go months when I don’t watch anything.

Willmafrockfit · 28/05/2023 16:56

thank you.
i have seen as much as the Crown as i can bear, i think
didnt like Bridgerton
and also havent seen anything for a while
saw Beef but
gave up on the Diplomat.

I like all the Kdrama and Scandi stuff on there. Worth it for me. YMMV.

Willmafrockfit · 28/05/2023 17:08

ymmv?

i will have to search for scandi things, but after the Bridge some of them seem to be copy cats

YMMV = your mileage may vary.

In other words, you might not like the things I like, and vice versa.

Willmafrockfit · 28/05/2023 17:32

It's best to just pay for the odd months or you end up paying and not watching anything, I'm paying at the moment as I watched the Diplomat and want to watch Manifest next weekend, I will then cancel until the new season of Virgin River is on

That's what I do now, I wasted so much money for years by not doing this. I'm planning on going back to it in a few months' time when Heartstopper comes back for a new series, then there's The Crown in November.

Ozark is very absorbing - it's in my all-time top 10 TV shows.

Film-wise, I'd recommend Mudbound and The Power of the Dog.

I'm waiting for the new Black Mirror episodes next month and then it's going. I'll pick it up occasionally for a month, but I watch more on iplayer anyway.

MeeThree · 29/05/2023 09:48

Yes I'm doing the same. Once Black Mirror is done, think I'll cancel

Willmafrockfit · 29/05/2023 09:52

i tried hard to find something yesterday, and that is what it has felt like for ages.
so many of the films i had already seen.

No. It's rubbish, but I'm on the cheapest deal £4.99 so I keep it just in case. But Now TV is so much better. It has Succession and The Night Of
