Did anyone watch BEING HUMAN on BBCTHREE ???

Yes I was a bit thrown by that as well - thought it was a series too. I love the guy that played the werewolf. Think he is really good - he was in the history boys wasn't he?

I liked the vampire chap too although his accent was a bit annoying - was he trying to be english or trying to be french? Or just a bit strange and vampirey?!

It's a one-off? Are you sure? I thought it was a series because that episode ended without any conclusion and the info. bit on my telly said it was a new series. ?

I checked the bbc3 website and thats where it said it's a one off

In case anyone's interested, there's an online petition to try an persuade the BBc that it's worth doing a series (because, it was pretty bleedy fabulous IMO)

Argh, I specifically watched that because I keep rejecting new series on the basis of them sounding stupid (Lost, Heroes) and then regretting it, the one time I decide to watch it's not a flippin' series!

i signed it, and it would be so good to have a good vampire supernatural drama that is British. I thought it had real mileage. So fingers crossed

Oh, I thought it was marvellous - first time I've seen a UK buffy-style production that was convincingly English in character, too. Torchwood is appallingly Doctor Who fanwanky, and I don't think it convinces as something stand alone, and often seems to want to be a UK version of that whole genre. It's fun for what it is, but it's no Buffy.

But I thought the three main characters in Being Human were just brilliantly drawn, and I definitely know people like all of them

Found out why they had closed the road by us a few months ago though.

Vampire guy's accent was weird though - coudln't work out what it was supposed to be.

Weird but strangely sexy. Oh hang on, wears too much black, angsty, moon tan, lean in a rangy-but-muscley way - yep presses all my buttons (god I'm so shallow)

People do seem to think that, because of the way BBC3 works, if enough people register approval they might reconsider comissioning a series. I signed, plus I did the official feedback thingy on the BBC website, apparently they do pass the feedback to the relevent comissioning editors etc.

serenity, I thought he was an emo version of Orlando Bloom, actually. Looked lovely when he'd just woken up in bed and the ghostgirl was sitting on the bed.

It was a one off? Well that explains why I haven't been able to find out when it's on next in the tv guide. What was the point of that? The way they marketed it was as if it was a new series. Weird.
