Has anyone watched The deep end?

A documentary about Teal Swan, apparently a spiritual leader with ESP that's amassed a huge following.

I don't get it, I'm all for people finding something to help them through trauma but the evangelical sycophantic behaviour is unnerving.

I just watched this and came on to see if anyone was discussing it! I’ve stumbled across a few of her videos over the years and always thought she talked a lot of sense. She is such a complicated person, and I think does genuinely seem to want to help people. However the dark side is pretty scary. The scene where members of her ‘circle’ were taking on the roles of one of the participant’s family members from the past, and suggested they had sensed that they had abused her brother, was completely horrifying. It was also interesting to see how she responded when people tried to disagree and argue with her, the effort she had to make to try and stay in control and not show her fury was frightening. I have so many questions. Has anyone else seen it?

I found her to be very troubled and psychologically damaging to those around her especially when they want to leave. Her getting everyone in her circle to tell Blake's wife how awful she is was horrifying to watch. She is no leader and she certainly isn't spiritual. Deluded, self important with a huge ego. She's dangerous to vulnerable people. I cannot fathom why so many follow her.

I've watched a few of her videos & found her to be both passionate about certain issues whilst being pragmatic too 🤷‍♀️
