She was amazing in that eating trial - I’d be putting ‘1’ every time, I can’t stand eating thing so don’t like and have to small an appetite to have 40 spoons of fermented tofu!

I liked Jordan better this series I remember finding him v boring the first time round

I did wonder how fatimas strength might wane given lack of food, especially protein for the muscles as she still had a very athletic physique when she first went in.

Anyway, help me out, I can't dredge the news dross (am on holiday..no hate please 🤣)...who was the final 5 and what order (know mylene won from another post) thank you!

Mylene was impressive in that eating trial. The 60 mice tails was absolutely disgusting. Where on earth did they source 60 mice tails from?

However, I do wonder how much of a set up it is. Jordan really didn't make much effort at all and he must have known he'd need to put a higher number down, particularly as Mylene was going so high. I wonder how Mylene would have faired against one of the other more competitive camp mates?

I know Myleene won now; not really bothered but suppose would have preferred Fatima, all three of the finalists have given the trials a lot of effort although it’s been a really boring series overall.

I think that I’m a Celebrity must sometimes struggle to get new celebrities to do it. I mean I bet a lot of people say no. Vernon Kay said on the radio the other day that he was asked many times before to do it.

I mean Katie Price went on twice FFS. And some of the contestants are barely celebrities anyway.

I think Myleene deserved to win after powering through those disgusting eating challenges. I have an unnatural aversion to rodents. I can’t even look at little mice in a glass display at Pets at Home. I couldn’t look at the pile of 60 mouse tails never mind watch Myleene eat them all. Then to follow that with 40 spoons of stinking tofu 🤮 🤮 I don’t think she’ll be in any rush to order room service when she reaches the hotel. Her digestive system is already working overtime.

Felt really sorry for Fatima in the counting trial.

I think trying to cope with the bugs and the snakes stopped her from being able to count properly.

She seemed to be in some kind of trance. Just counting,.but was counting to over 60?

Then she seemed quite confused when they started taking the box off her head and tried to press the buzzer. Confused that it had ended.

I think she is very honourable as a sports person so wouldn't have tried to lose on purpose. I think trying g to cope with the animals affected her ability to focus on the counting.

And poor Jordan who had to keep his head in those snakes for an extra 8 minutes!!!😂

I think Myleene was amazing in that last trial and definitely deserved to win.

I think at the start they were trying to keep the numbers small. So if they both choose small numbers then you only have to eat less. But you risk the other person winning the point.

So towards the end the number of things they thought they would eat started increasing.

And for the last 2 trials Myleene made sure she would get picked.

Jordan didnt skimp on the numbers but Mylene wanted to make sure she got the point.

So while Jordan put down 20 for the mice tails- Myleene went high with 60.and with that stinky Tofu she wanted to guarantee she got the chance to eat it.

So again Jordan went high with 25. But in order to guarantee she got the chance to get the point. Myleene put down 40- which was the full lot.

I think it was great how she was so determined and then made sure she ate what she said she would.

Id have been as sick as a dog on an 1/7 of all that awful stuff to eat, fair play to her

I miss the proper exit interviews where they get to see the footage themselves and have the right to reply but it feels like so many of them weren’t even in there for the whole 2 weeks anyway, I haven’t been into this like I am usually, it’s lacking. Feels rushed and half arsed.

One aspect I liked was, that rather than just the unpopular ones being voted off, it was the ones who were bad at trials leaving.

So in the end the person who wins,.is someone who has done well on the trials, rather than winning a popularity contest.

If had been down to viewer votes I dont think we would have had the final 3 that we did. Especially Jordan. Think he left really early in his first jungle adventure

It was ok, but I did wonder what the point of this South African version was? I mean the show being on once a year is enough …
Not sure I saw the need to make this plus it was filmed back in September last year..

It seemed that the ones that volunteered for trials left early if they lost (Toff and Andy for example), but those that didn’t offer to do the survival trials stayed. Seems massively unfair that Tuffers and Janice stayed so long without really doing anything and I although Paul and Carol did trails, I don’t think they did any of the survival ones until it was everyone taking part.
it just means the more interesting people left earlier than some of the dull ones!

I do like the actual competitiveness at the end, fighting for the title rather than the voting. But I think all the daily trials should have involved all of them somehow so it whittled them down equally.
I agree, the ones booted out early doors were disadvantaged!

I totally agree. I thought she had misunderstood the rules and was hanging on to the bitter end but then that didn’t make sense when she pressed the buzzer after it ended. I felt bad for her. She had done so well

To try out the newer cheaper location, shared with other countries versions.
With less at stake than a full series with new contestants.
