I had another thought about why Nicky marrying Gabby will not help the plan. In order to get married Nicky will have to put his full name and his father's name on the marriage certificate. They will also have to pass the interview with the registrar about each other in order to be allowed to marry. Gabby will have to know who he is before she marries him.
