I've always thought the idea that they process and package all the meat a bit ridiculous. It must all be done by the meat fairies as we never see any evidence of it.

@RaraRachael I'm surprised the writers haven't had Moira/Nate/Cain covered in blood from slaughtering and tied it in with a murder or two to make them look like the culprit.

@PrincessScarlett some farmers get the animals butchered and then deal with the meat themselves but we rarely see cattle on Moira's farm. They should be out in the fields now but the fields are empty. Where are they housed for the winter? They only have a few barns which are only used for illicit shagging. The hay is red rotten. They sometimes talk about making silage but we never see it. The Sugdens always had dairy cows and sheep which we actually saw.
