OMG! How amazing were the special effects for that shoulder distocia case???? Pretty graphic but realistic.

It was pretty horrific, the baby got stuck and they couldn't deliver it so they ahd to whip the Mum to theatre for emergency section and push baby back in and get him out that way. There was a really grappshic, head was delivered shot with babys head and then them pushing the head back in, amazing.

could barely cope watching - blimey. ER never manages to get that tense. Glad I've got all my pregnancies and births out of the way.

Excellent programme but too much blood sometimes. That Max Beesley is rather nice and Keith Allen is brill!

It is / was fab. Although my DH really did have to cover his eyes for the gory bits, hard to believe that he's been present at the births of his 3 children !! Can't wait for the next series
