Out Of The Shadows: Born From Rape (BBC iPlayer)

Not an easy watch, and I felt so many mixed emotions.
But healing and hopeful for those very brave souls featured, around such a taboo subject.

More about this incredible woman here:

I've just watched this documentary on iplayer this week as I've just discovered I was born from rape too. There doesn't seem to be any support groups for people in my position from my searches online. If anyone knows of any I'd be very grateful. The documentary was very moving and she is an incredibly brave woman.

@Dragonfly677, I can barely imagine what a mix of emotions must be going on for you right now.

You're right: there don't seem to be any UK support organisations solely for people in your situation. Maybe Rape Crisis or NAPAC could signpost you to somewhere with more specific knowledge?

Or contact Sammy Woodhouse directly?

I really wish you well, and hope you can find guidance to peace of mind.

Thank you so much for your kinds words and guidance. I'll check those out. I'm on a roller coaster of emotions but I'll get there.
