A lot of them don’t seem to be taking us as seriously as there isn’t a public vote. Even Ant and Dec are taking the piss out of some of the camp mates as soon as they walk out, when they wouldn’t normally be allowed to as it could influence voting.

I’d be on Fatima’s side here. And also think Paul was pathetic only handing over his coffee once everyone pointed the finger at him. Then coming across all noble “well it’s not fair for everyone else to do it and not me” bollocks.
Gillian’s laughing attitude would have really pissed me off.

I thought she told Helen she had salt too, but don't think she handed that over.

I kind of don't blame them for trying to bring stuff in that makes things a bit more bearable but hate the smugness of Gillian and do also see why Fatima is annoyed. Don't want 2 to go yet though!

Also I'm surprised Gillian wasn't given a thorough search before she entered camp with her contraband as the production team must have known she'd do the same trick from the last time she was in the jungle. 🌹

I bet the production team knew and let her off with it knowing it would cause "drama" when they outed her.

He was such a hypocrite, he kept really quiet and only admitted it when the others said he looked guilty.
I thought Amir's challenge looked bearable from his POV but I hoped (but not convinced) he was told how to pick up an animal safely for his and their benefit. There is likely a "correct" way to handle a snake/gecko/crocodile to avoid causing it pain or injury (as well as keeping yourself safe)

Yes definitely, that bit was all set up. I wouldn't be surprised if Gillian was told to sneak contraband in after the uproar last time. Would explain her smugness as she looked like it was hilarious. It wasn't.

I wonder what the viewing figures are like for this. I think ITV picked a bad time to show it while the Premier League is still going on and Eurovision semifinals next week. Because there's no public vote I don't feel any urgency to catch up with what I've missed either.

I would definitely be smuggling coffee in if I could get away with it but I agree everyone would be able to smell it!

I'm watching even though I said I wouldn't and I find the whole thing quite stilted. I think Ant and Dec bounce off the audience, even if they can't see the audience, as with trad IACGMOOH, and that's missing here. There's no tweeting etc about live events, no viewer voting, because everything happened last year.

I also think the celebs tasks are being tailor made for each celeb, based on theior individual previous show histories.

And the smuggling thing was so set up - I bet a few of them were told to "smuggle" stuff in, and we'll see more examples where things have been set up based on previous camp behaviours by each celeb.

Wonder how they make money as usually voting. Yes many used the free app but sure many called in as well
