Collennes real woman, Am I missing the point

What is so "real" about the woman she is choosing compared witht he models they are competing with apart from the fact they haven't been modeling?

Is it not just a hunt for more model types?

I only caught a bit of it as I was watching get naked with dawn, and just wondered what the point was.

Well, she starts off with size 18 women in the "possibles" but always chooses the size no-bigger-than-a-12-at-most for the actual placements

I don't think she has a point as such - certainly not to widen the scope of models into the "plus size" range, that's for sure

I thought it would go that way if they were competing for commercial model jobs. If she had done her own stuff and promoted them rather than putting them up against models then I would see a point.

Get naked with dawn was a very positve take on nakedness and finished with lots of naked and partialy naked woman driving round london on an open top bus wooping and cheerinng and promoting real woman. Finished and the offices of vogue and she tried to get some of the vogue staff out to party on her budss to get away from the artificial images, suprisingly she had no takers from there.

Last week though she did put a size 16 woman through to the top 3. She didn't actually get the job (went to a size 8 student ) but she could have been a model as she had the most beautiful face

the programme seems pretty pointless to me...as they often go for the real beautys anyway...yes, they may not be quite as tall or anything...but come on...they are not real women, they are still very beautyful, generally beyond the norm...
real women are those with "nooks and crannies"....those that don't have a perfect bodyshape whichever size they are, and those with not the real beautyful faces....
I much rather watch Gok and how to look good naked...at least tehre is a real feel good factor there...

know what you mean...I mean, unless you are true plastic...even models are actually real women, just more lucky (bit like Coleens "real" women...like I said, they ain't the ugly duycklings, are they...I mean, even top model is more daring in getting the ugly beauties onto their programme...if you know what I mean...

Top model definitely has more of a cross section of women than on Coleen's show. I missed this weeks but thought it was a bit suspicious that Coleens women always seem to get picked for the contracts!

well, only saw the end of this weeks programme, and for a change non of them were picked...although one still got a contract out of it.....

Am watching the repeat on ITV2 now - very sad, but it's been a long week!

I was quite shocked that Sweatybetty chose such a tall and thin-looking model

I thought their branding was about being 'healthy' but their size 10-12 models were thought too fat, basically

the model they chose is nearly 6 foot and you could pass a pram between her thighs when she is standing with her feel together
