I'm just doing a bit of score watching- Rublev is down 2-5 against Lajovic in the first set. Swiatek is ahead in her match.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 13:47

I think you mean about bloody time umpire!

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 13:48

Beating Djok seems to have given Lajovic so much confidence Grin

Raahh · 23/04/2023 13:55

I've just seen the scores in the Rune match - that seems to have swung around in the second set then.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 13:55

Iko Iko 🕺🏻

Holger is not happy because he sent his racquet to get regrppied and it's taking ages. He said his record is 23 seconds Grin

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 13:56

regrppied is not a word

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:01

All to play for now

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:03

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 13:56

regrppied is not a word

Grin

I've just managed to turn on.

Bit of Wham! in the background. Nice.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:07

Holger gets very hung up on certain racquets it seems

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:08

That apple blossom must be distracting

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:17

It's slipping away from him now, a bit. But the at was a good shot.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:27

Yikes looks like a reverse of last year. This time Holger is in pain.

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:28

Not a good time to be picking up an injury. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:29

Oh dear. he doesn't seem too happy.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:31

Funnily I was thinking at the start that the way Holger serves must be severe on his shoulder. He extends his arm so high.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:31

I wouldn't mind a shoulder rub myself.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:32

I wish Botic would take his cap off for a minute, I want to see what's going on with that bleach Grin

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:37

That's better

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:37

He's still rubbing the shoulder

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:37

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:31

I wouldn't mind a shoulder rub myself.

I had a frozen shoulder- which took about 2 years to recover, and was ok by earlier this year. (I'm still on the waiting list for the steroid injection, though!)- but oddly it flared up a week or so ago- and I couldn't move my arm at all. Must have been a blip as it's ok now. Was very strange though.

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:38

I would also like tennis players 'magic painkillers' that seem to work in a matter of seconds.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:41

I had that a few years ago Raahh the physio did dry needling which was brilliant. I think a lot of women seem to get frozen shoulder in peri menopause. My SIL had it too.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:46

Whatever Aneke said seems to have helped

Raahh · 23/04/2023 14:47

Jane it does seem very common. I had a very different issue with my other shoulder, about 10 years ago.

JaneJeffer · 23/04/2023 14:47

I think the crowd wants to get behind him because Botic is a bit boring let's face it
