I feel a bit sorry for Marina, she’s stuck downstairs doing laundry or housekeeping and just not getting to go on service and it appears that Lara will defy Jason and not let her get onto service. All other chief stews that I can remember rotate their girls for service and laundry, it’s very odd.

So happy to see Wihan be fired, he took absolutely no responsibility for his actions, he spoke appallingly to Harry and didn’t tell Alesia that she’d made a mistake and he wasn’t Johnny, what an arsehole Wihan is. I did feel for Johnny a bit, I agree he was aggressive and Jason had no choice but at least he owned what he did and took responsibility for his actions. It also appears that Alesia moves on quite quickly……

So , new deckie Nicolas, owned up to Jason about taking a shot with the guests, good for him, had he not gone to him and Jason had found out, I’m sure he’d have sacked him.
Tzarina has, IMO, got low self confidence, that said, I think Alesia should’ve gone directly to her and gently explained how she was feeling rather than have the almost mean girls conversation with the stews, it was so obvious they’d been talking about Tzarina when she opened the cabin door, I felt a bit sorry for her.
Lara still seems determined not to give Marina a go on service, even though Jason has spoken to her again about it.

In other news, has anyone seen the trailer for the next season of Below Deck starting early June, looks pretty explosive

I watched this weeks episode yesterday and I’m really disliking Lara now. I think she seems to have a bit of an agenda against Tzarina and seems to be deliberately antagonising her.
I think Tzarina did the right thing by walking away when they were on their crew night out and she and Lara had a conversation about the bloody plates, Lara got arsey about Tzarina not using ‘Chief’ stew, just ‘stew’, as evidenced when bitching about Tzarina in the bus on the way back to the boat. Then buying the lipstick for Alesia, nice gesture for sure but it also seemed calculated in that she gave it to her while Alesia was busy in the galley and then telling Jason about what a nice thing she’d done.
At last though, Lara did put Marina on service thanks to Jason putting more pressure on her to do it and I think Marina did a good job, I also felt a bit sorry for Brie, every time she was doing something, Lara called her for something else which appeared to be really irritating, what was Lara doing?

I think it all goes off a bit next episode between Lara and Tzarina though

The lipstick thing was weird. Have we ever seen someone by crew a present through provisions just because? It felt manipulative.

Would you not just buy her a present on your day off? And yes, why give it to her during service and not in her own cabin on break?

Lara walking out seemed unprofessional. But I think both are sensitive in different ways. Lara cried on day one. I do think Lara is a bit snobby to Tzarina and I think Tzarina is desperate for some fictional close friendship that she acts like a kid about it. Tzarina’s issues with Lara are the same as hers with Wihan.

I don’t particularly side with either of them tbh.

Lara isn’t easy to like. She definitely deserves the helmet this week.

Yeah she’s quite cold and for Jason to have his back up with her it feels like a lot. Tzarina is a drama llama but is looking slightly more justified with each ep.

I don’t think Lara is a bad chief stew. We’ve seen much worse but she’s not very likeable.

Also weird she made Marina her second after all that.

It would appear that Jason has got the measure of Lara, she’s manipulative and sly. I felt for Alesia when Lara went on again about the crew mess. I think Alesia should have simply said that Tzarina is her boss and she takes direction from her, not Lara. Lara is overstepping with her and seems to think Alesia is one of her department and she isn’t as far as I’m aware.

Great Jason ep! Lara is someone who just looks for issues and seems to want to feel miserable about something all the time.

Also not surprised in her “new” Jason crush. Given she was with the captain on her last boat I feel like she’s someone who looks for a man at the top of the table.

Does anyone else feel that Bri isn’t into Harry as much as he is into her? I just felt, watching today’s episode that she didn’t want to hurt his feelings so went along with his ‘exclusive partnership’ suggestion so as not to upset him with one charter left and crew nights out still to happen?

Pirates? Grown ups? So childish, hardly top end yachting.

I don’t think pirates is anymore childish than other fancy dress nights we’ve seen. Personally, I don’t understand why fancy dress is so popular when you’re on a luxury yacht for a couple of nights anyway. Or every but that’s just me.

Lara blaming Tzarina for the 7 courses when it was on the preference sheet and then trying to make her change the guests’ minds and then annoyed she didn’t try very hard is madness. What she should have done is hired more cutlery and crockery for the evening.

She very much someone who likes to dwell in unhappiness.

I came here to say that - why didn't she hire it before they left. It wasn't a suprise!!

I'd rather go for a drink and meal with Tzarina than Lara any day!! Sorry Lara but you didn't look good trying to rake up old issues. Just let it go and don't keep in touch.

Does anyone know if any of the relationships have worked out? (I know Harry is single) .....but what about the other girls?

Not sure. Might look later today. The relationships at the end were quite wholesome which was like and I definitely enjoy that level of drama vs the ones that have been more vicious.

Lara is a twat but not the most evil stew by any means so it’s been a good watch.

Mad that all she had was on fib about her being late for work that was said to her not anyone else and immediately owned to Alesia.

I hope we don’t see Lara again, she’s quite unlikeable and needs to learn when to just let it go. She really didn’t seem to understand that a lot of the horrible time she had was of her own making.

Jason definitely had the measure of her and if he continues with BD, I don’t think she’ll be asked back.

I often wonder if crew who behave like her, or worse, watch their season back and reflect and change their behaviour and/or attitude.

Onwards to next week with the start of Captain Kerry with a new season of BD 😁

I feel like she’s oblivious and can only see her own narrative. At least we know she’s of on the next BDDU. Very much looking forward to that team!

I've just read that Harry fell out with Tzarina due to the comments she made on social media about Lara. Paraphrasing but he though she shouldn't say anything and should rise above it all. I wonder what she was saying.....might have to head to Instagram.....
Neither of them are back for next season... hurry up Ben!!
