I've seen the first couple of series on Walter Presents on All4. but now this third series is on the Beeb, so no ads. Anyone watching?

Watched the first one. I like the protagonist a lot and enjoyed the first two. I'd forgotten they were on Walter Presents but then again I watch so many Nordic dramas they blur into one a bit Grin

Is this the same as Darkness: Those Who Kill, or an entirely different drama?

Same protagonist in all three, with a different case.

We saw the previous two series and 'enjoyed' them (not the right word for something that dark but ykwim) but I can’t remember exactly why the lead character is so traumatised now. Something about girls being kidnapped and imprisoned I think - pretty grim. The actress seems to have lost a lot of weight, looks v v thin….maybe a requirement for the role though.

They were all on BBC4, I realise.

Ah, my mistake. Anyone still watching? I have caught up to 'TV pace' now.

Yes, still watching. We were expecting 6 episodes but it’s 8. Don’t want to give any spoilers away but that was a slightly surprising development at the end of the last episode, I thought, with half the series still to go!

It only struck me tonight, that Bjorn is, of course, Ivar The Boneless! 😀
