I loved it.

I know! I wasn't expecting it to be such a brilliant documentary and music arrangements. Loved it.

I probably sound immature but really need to see it in the cinema with a spliff.

It's sensational.

Saw it in the cinema with DH just after both of our fathers had died in the same week. Sunday morning and we had the screen to ourselves. Both sobbed quietly all the way through. So glad we went.

As someone who has not yet faced playing Black Star, I loved how in quite a short timespan, they got such a lovely depth. Might be ready for it now. By the way, Duncan is on twitter and a complete delight. And Lexi is starting to sing.

Black Star is a wonderful piece of work but I understand why you have avoided listening to it. There’s no one even close to Bowie as a songwriter or performer.

For anyone in or near London, there's a David Bowie retro going on at the Royal Festival Hall. Aladin Sanre being played by various artists live on Fri 21st.

I found it incredibly intense! I had to take a couple of breaks - I think in the cinema it would have blown my mind…
