Just watched this evening. What an unexpectedly great film. Was a bit 🤔 about the storyline - the creation and licensing of the video game but it was based on what actually happened and it was utterly compelling. Well worth a watch. Tarron Egerton was fab and Roger Allam as Robert Maxwell was genius. Also loved the Acapulco-esque’80’s songs sung in Russian scattered throughout , brilliant.

I genuinely think Taron Egerton is one of the best actors working today.

To think he was Eddie the Eagle, Elton John, James Keene and now this - he's certainly not typecast thats for sure!

We absolutely loved him in Blackbird. He deserves so much recognition for it - it was such a compelling drama. I genuinely think it was better than Line of Duty

We watched it and enjoyed it a lot - plus the graphics linking where events were taking part had us giggling throughout.

DH & I watched this last night - what an incredible story of how such an innocuous game came to be! Brilliant film & fab acting & writing.
