Wait, the one with Naomi Watts?! That guy looks nothing like Robbie Williams! He's got a rectangular face and big lips. Robbie has a square face and thin lips.

Anyway I've given up and I'm watching that Waco seige thing instead.

Someone should have gone Waco on everyone involved in the bloody watcher.

I thought it was really good

I haven't watched the show but I've listened to a few podcasts about it. I don't think it's true but it makes for a good story.

It honestly would have been so much better with a Waco mash up element to it. And on a deep level netflix knows this.

I think it is just supposed to be really surreal. I made it through and while I didn't hate it i also wouldn't recommend it to others

It's an OTT surreal series with channel 5 daytime movie vibes.
An entertaining and easily watchable yarn but a disappointing and pointless ending.

Reminded me of the flowers in the attic books of my childhood.

the woman who was in the American pie Franchise, Jennifer/ Jessica (?) coolidge is the same character over and over. Slightly more edgy in this but annoying nevertheless .

She's become as ubiquitous as the equally unlikeable and one dimensional (imo) Rebel Wilson who was also everywher a few years ago .

both typecast as the stooge, acting dumb / deadpan because of their non conventional appearance (non conventional based on the looks of their Hollywood peers)
I don't blame them, it obviously pays well and keeps them un worjmmgroundhog day performances and their predictable performances no doubt engender a comforting feeling of familiarity for viewers .

I made it through but wouldn't really recommend it other than for the gorgeous house.

Overrated crap

Started off ok but the ending was so crap I wish I hadn't bothered

It was dreadful! This was the first time I'd ever seen Jennifer Coolidge in anything, and I couldn't believe that I'd heard others talking about what a good actress she was. She was rank!

And season 2 has just been announced...

Another series of Naomi Watts making white pottery whilst wearing white clothes and still no one discovers who The Watcher is.
