Public information films

There seems to be a cult following of public information films/ public service announcements. Thousands on YouTube and can even find some on DVD. I did like the Charley Says or superted one the police would show at school. Some were quite funny and charming whilst others were terrifying. I mean, watching nice programs in children's ITV and cute toy and sweets adverts then a scary fireworks or road safety warning advert would come on and shit me up

The kite and electricity pylon one haunts me to this day. Bloody terrifying.

This one

I enjoyed them as a child, but I had quite morbid tastes. The one where the boy gets electrocuted climbing a pylon was one of my favourites.
