Just caught up on Corrie after being almost a month behind. I like Paul and really feel for him A random question but does anyone know why Paul and Gemma have different surnames (Foreman and Winter)? I did notice though that in an episode a while back Paul's bank account said Paul Winter.

I've (perhaps unreasonably) been a bit irritated by the huge Heineken 0% pump in the main camera shot in the Rovers and the pointed "Another pint of zero?" questions to extras, though it is probably more noticeable when binge watching!

I've wondered that about Paul and Gemma's surnames too, were they not brought up together and Paul took whoever brought him up's name?

Maybe Gemma has her Mum's Surname and Paul has his Dad's.

I'm just catching up but good god Steven is absolutely the worst actor in it, it was Michael, who I was beginning to think was actually there just to irritate us he's so bad, but Steven is shite.

Well it's an everyday tale really. Paul's been told he might have MND and thus, despite his rekindled relationship with Bill Prayerhands and his proxy dadship of Summer, has apparently nothing left to live for; while Gemma is slack-jawed over her latest wedding costs drama, and Bernie keeps stuffing her face with curries, all of which Paul inexplicably has to pay for. And I'm sure Summer will think of some essential Routledge textbooks he has to pay for at some point.
