Are there many adverts on Walter Presents?

We have been streaming the new Four Weddings and a Funeral on All4. The show is great but the adverts make it nearly unwatchable. I usually record channel 4 series onto my Youview box just so I can fast forward through the adverts. Can't do that on a streamed programme, alas.

I looked into getting All4plus which is ad free, and thought maybe it would be worth getting for boxsets. I particularly like the selection on Walter Presents, but on the All4plus web site it says there are adverts on Walter Presents.

So could anyone who watches Walter Presents tell me just how bad the adverts are? The ones on Four Weddings are so stupid and frequent it rather spoils the experience!

I have the “without ads” version and you don’t gets ads, as such - just promotions/trailers for other All4 programmes. They do break up the programme in the same way as ads but they’re quite short and considerably less annoying than the ads IMO.

Thanks Jemima. So not ads as such on Walter Presents? I could tolerate that I think.

I watch Walter Presents material a lot, and as I recall I’ve only got promotions for other C4 programmes. Like you I found the ads excessive and annoying, whereas I can live with the promotional trailers which are much shorter and less intrusive. It’s probably worth trying anyway, see what you think - you can cancel All4Plus at any time.

Sounds like it's well worth a trial. I've got my eye on a few good thrillers! Thanks again.
