The Bay - anyone else disappointed in the ending ?

I’ve binge watched the Bay and actually feel quite disappointed in how it ends.
I just don’t feel it’s up to the usual standard.
Anyone else watched it all yet ?

I've just binged watched, and quite like the plot twists. Though some did seem a bit obvious.

I am not sure that I found the ending disappointing but did feel like so many others, that it was more to do with setting things up for the start of another series.

I'm really bad at remembering names but find the lead actress has a limited range, or that her part is written so simplisticly she doesn't really have much else to do than be the efficient police woman, or the harassed second wife.

I thought the bereaved family were all really good, including the father who I know is a well known actor. Although his treatment of his children was not at all nice.

The thing that stuck in my mind is how awful it must be to be a young child at school now. Not saying that school days in the past were always nice, but the bullying at school and at home because of social media.

All in all better that a lot of the 9pm slots, though obviously nowhere near Happy Valley.
