Hi, I've recently watched the later Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman Long Way Up on appletv, after watching their first two in 2004/07 when they came out. Not a motorbike fan, never even been on one I don't think, but really loved the camaraderie between the two of them, and the places and people they meet along the way.

I've just been doing my usual scrolling through all the tv streaming apps, trying to find something to watch (I am sure I spend more time doing this than actually watching stuff some days, and my watchlists are stupidly long!) and just wondered if anyone had anything with a similar "feel good" feeling about it? I did watching Expedition Happiness on Netflix last night, which was just a film as opposed to a series, but it was ok, but has reminded me a little of the EM/CB series above and I think I'm in the mood for similar. Have watched a few travel docs - including food travel ones, which I also enjoy - so am happy if they also/or contained this element. I honestly cannot remember the specific names of ones I've already watched, but have enjoyed ones with Anthony Bordain, somebody feed Raymond (I think) etc.

Have all of the usual uk tv based apps, plus prime, apple, Netflix, and nowtv (so any of the sky channels).

Thank you!

Race Across the World! There are 2 series already on BBC iPlayer, with Series 3 coming soon!

We loved it- genuinely exciting travel content with added edge of the race and very normal human beings!

Thank you @user1471548941. I have just searched on iplayer for that and can see that it actually already is on my watchlist, and there's a vague sense of familiarity about it, so will re-add to my current "mental" watchlist as well. The description also really reminds me of a similar series years ago where people (I think also pairs, but not sure) had to see how far they could go without spending any money? I cannot remember if there was a set end destination, and/or they also had to do so without being 'discovered', ie by general public. It's possible that those are two diffferent series rather than one, but it was some time ago and the memory is hazy! Btw, it wasn't 'Hunted'.

I shall try the first ep of your suggestion later and see how I get on. It clearly interested me enough to add it when it first came out I think. Thanks ☺️

Thanks, btw. I did (binge!) watch the first two series on iPlayer after you suggested and realised that some of the contestants seemed vaguely familiar in s1, so I think I must've started watching it at some point, but didn't carry on. I did quite enjoy it! I'm a couple of eps in of s3 so far and have realised how much more I enjoyed it as a binge so think I'm going to wait now and finish watching s3 after it's finished (whilst making sure I somehow avoid spoilers haha!).
