Of all the recent 9pm slot dramas over the past few weeks (excluding Happy Valley of course) I found this better that expected.
Partly because I usual find Amanda Abbington just a bit mannered, but thought she really suited the part.
And it has Sunetra Sarker - always a plus for me.
Not a police procedural, but how a single mum reacts when her son inadvertently gets implacted in a crime.
Lots of twists and turns. More like those films from a few decades ago when every time you thought you knew what was going to happen, something totally different did.
Interesting that it is list as season 1. Does this mean they are thinking of a 2nd season?
