I've been rewatching since Happy Valley finished.

I have a question but maybe I've just missed bits.

When Ellie had the baby Harry and his daughter turned up at the hospital.

Harry introduced his daughter to Gillian.

Yet Alan and Harry grew up together. Harry was at Catherine's for Christmas etc so they presumably were at each others weddings child's christenings, family gatherings. How come Gillian didn't know Harry's daughter?

Also I thought Catherine would ask Gillian to live with her in the end. She could sell the farm and Catherine could pay her to look after Flora. Although Gillian would soon be fed up.

For some reason I thought Gary would turn out to be Harry's kid. Although it would have still meant Alan had cheated on Gillian's mum it would be easier not having that reminder of him, his wife and kids.
